The OWAA explores dowsing as a remediation process that moves beyond scientific, human-centred, and economic frameworks. Dowsing becomes a method of listening to the sites and hearing them speak. Dowsers receive information from well sites and transcribe the messages from the wells into letters, which are mailed to caretakers who have symbolically adopted the wells.
