drawing, ink on paper
45.72 x 60.69 cm

A series of drawings of beetle bark pathways found in Canadian firewood. The map-like pathways are made by an invasive species of wood-boring beetle. The beetles carry a fungus that spreads throughout the tree, disrupting the flow of nutrients until the tree dies.
