Revealing links between ecological and economic systems, I began this series by drawing beetle bark pathways found in Canadian firewood. The map-like pathways are made by an invasive species of wood-boring beetle. The series continues with Inner End (Service Roads), a series of drawings that traces the networks service/industry roads in central Alberta. The drawings are inspired by backroad maps that provide information on roads for forestry as well as oil and gas data. These works are often presented with along with the Orphan Well Adoption Agency.
