Curated by Alana Bartol and Andrew Lochhead
Workers Arts & Heritage Centre, Art Gallery of Windsor, Windsor Public Library and Hamilton Farmers’ Market

A multidisciplinary performance series that focused on the intersections between artistic practice and the labour that supports it. Art S.E.A.L.S. brought together nine artists from Hamilton and Windsor, Ontario for a series of performance and participatory works hosted at art galleries and other public venues in both cities. The project explored the relationships between artistic and “non-artistic” labour, seeking to engage and broaden current discussions on the value of arts, culture and labour in the communities of Hamilton and Windsor.

Artists: Josh Babcock, Klyde Broox, Andrea Carvalho, Arturo Herrera, Brian Kelly, Ingrid Mayrhofer, Nadja Pelkey, Lisa Pijuan-Nomura and Michelle Souillère.

Supported by: Ontario Arts Council, City of Windsor's Arts Culture & Heritage Fund and Windsor Endowment for the Arts. Pictured below, works by: Brian Kelly, Nadja Pelkey, Ingrid Mayerhofer
